There are people out there using majordomo under NT, but to my (quite possibly
woefully uninformed) ears the whole thing sounds like a big fat stinky hack.
If I were in your shoes I'd probably go with Linux.

(Please note that this isn't an anti-Windows or anti-NT screed -- I use 95 and
NT all the time, and both of them do the jobs I want them to do.  But if your
primary interest is really in serving email lists I suspect the whole process
is going to be a lot more straightforward under Linux.)
