	System outages of this sort are not uncommon at any of the large
service providers (or most mainframe shops, for that matter).
Occasionally you need to take the whole thing down to upgrade core
software.

	This should not result in any more bounces than you would
normally get, since when your machines try to contact ours, you
should just get temporary refusals to connect, and when we come back
up a bit later, you should get through.
