They collect their lists by polling majordomo/listserv addresses and
requesting a list of lists -- the 'lists' command in Majordomo.
There's a set of 'exclusion words' in the description, such as
"private" that cause them not to list certain lists.
They also take extreme care to _not_ provide any way for you to
automatically sign up for a list; instead, they strongly stress
that you should read the information files about the lists before
trying to join up.
I'm impressed by Liszt; they offer a good service that fits with
my (somewhat strict) theory of "advertising" other peoples' mailing
lists. They get the "Kynn seal of approval". :)
