The one I'm familiar with is writtin in C, but it's still pretty useful.
We use it to send out a quasi-monthly newsletter to ~200,000 people and it
seems to do it okay (although it still takes awhile :)
Try... <ftp://cs.utk.edu/pub/moore/bulk_mailer/> (If that's wrong, let me
know... typed it by hand...)
